Thinking … it sullies the sacred well

In one of their songs, the 1960’s rock band, The Animals, put it this way:

We gotta get out of this place

If it’s the last thing we ever do

We gotta get out of this place

‘Cause girl, there’s a better life

For me and you.

Getting into this place was a lot less complicated than it is getting out of it. That much is now obvious.

The good news is, however, that whatever God, the Eternal Truth, the Creator, the Great IT, Ahweah, Elohim, Christ, Father, Jehovah or any of the myriad of gods and goddesses humans have created, because one is never enough, didn’t make, can be and without a doubt will be, unmade.

One such thing to be undone is thinking.

Thinking must be undone because it serves as a barrier to being. A perfect example of this is a well-known saying attributed to American industrialist and founder of the Ford Motor Company, Henry Ford: Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right. Which is another way of saying, if you think you’re a son or daughter of Creation you are, and if you don’t think you are, you’re not. Yes. It’s as simple, and as twisted, as that.

Do you see the issue here?

Ego is giving itself godlike status and proclaiming that it is the final, and only, decision maker in all things. And if it decides that you are on this earth to suffer, worry, strive, struggle, war, dominate, own other beings as if they were cattle or conversely be one of the bullocks or steers, slaughter them and generally find fault with everyone and everything than- so it is. There will be no discussion or debate. As the Chinese communist leadership was allegedly fond of saying: Tremble and obey.

You know what thinking is? Thinking is no more than opinion pieces written by a celestial version of a playwright. A dramatist who just happens to be a drunkeard, madly scribbling away at wild and fanciful scripts that only he reads and ones which when looked at with sober eyes make no sense and have even less rhyme or reason.

Whilst it is true that thinking has direct determination on life and all its outcomes, it is totally false to claim that thinking something is the way that thing actually is. It is to that end that we are required to undo thinking in order to witness reality, and reunite with Creation.

In Creation there is no thinking. All thinking is left behind. Indeed, that old chestnut of a saying; ‘I think therefore I am,’  should be replaced with a the truth; I don’t think; therefore I am.

You see, dear reader, thinking is the poison that sullies the sacred well.

Until tomorrow,
