Destiny

Often mentioned and just as often misunderstood, the destiny concept is. It is a great lie and a fundamental truth, depending on the understanding of it.

That destiny means one has no control over life and circumstance is a lie. This interpretation is an excuse for failure and a super lame reason for not trying. It’s my destiny, what can I do, is a frequently expressed sob story.

Then you get the other aspect of that sad and rusty coin, It’s not my fault. I am but a pawn of destiny. So all the people one has been instrumental in torturing and killing, were part of a tyrant’s destiny and we are to assume the tortured and the murdered were there to be so treated. That was their destiny.

Douglas Adams reinforces that point nicely when he says: “I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be.”

What a load of garbage. We end up exactly where we choose to end up.

Now for the fundamental truth about destiny. In the very instant the separation from Creation occurred there was put in place a plan for the healing of that illusion. Meaning, every single one will be healed and reoccupy their place in Creation. In that there are no exceptions. For that everyone should be grateful for that is the only destiny. Everything else you have control over.

Until tomorrow,
